Membrane Replacement

Watermaker Membrane Replacement — San Diego

Reverse-osmosis membranes are consumables. Over time they foul, take on salt passage, and lose production. If your salinity is climbing, output is dropping, or the system has been sitting unused, a fresh membrane is often the fix.

When to replace a membrane

  • Product-water TDS creeping up above safe drinking levels
  • Output flow dropping by more than 15–20% at normal pressure
  • System has been idle without proper pickling
  • Membrane is 5+ years old, or history is unknown
  • Repeated bio-fouling despite cleanings

What's included

New membrane (Filmtec / Dow or equivalent), pressure vessel inspection and O-ring service, system flush, and post-install salinity verification. We coordinate the specific membrane part number for your Sea Recovery, Spectra, Village Marine, FCI, or HRO system.
